I wanted to brush up on my fishing so I subscribed to this publication. After reading a few issues it I found myself not really enjoying reading it. The fishing tips are slim at best and and a good deal of the magazine was not really about improving fishing. After you read a few issues they start repeating them self. The final straw came when I received a DVD that I did not request from Bass Master that if not return would start a DVD subscription! The same day I canceled my subscription! Save yourself the aggravation don't subscribe!
Bassmaster magazine has great content, though it is a little heavy on the trip info for the average or weekend angler. The photography is sharp,epic. I would like more inserts with how-to's, especially from older tour pros like Denny, Gary, and Rick; these guys have the knowledge that we want as up-start and multi-species anglers/weekend anglers and those just wanting to improve their game.I have taken Bassmaster since 1976 and haven't missed an issue!
Easily the best magazine on bass fishing i've found yet. I've been getting Bassmaster's for about 3 years now and I look forward to every single episode. I've also purchased and read several other angler associated magazines. This magazine is so full of information if you don't learn something while reading it you must have your eyes closed!!!
