a traditional 'home' magazine
Always found in homes of current and yesteryear homes - a mainstay publication. Good, well-written articles from soup-to-nuts for the American home. Nice photography, appropriate advertising, a classic.

I was so annoyed today when I got my first edition of my Better Homes and Garden magazine and discovered that every other page.. and even many times more than every other page was advertisements. I don't really enjoy paying to flip through these pages. This magazine would be 20 pages if they got rid of the advertisements. P.S. I am not a usual complainer.

Has some good advice and helpful hints.
I can't think of anything that stands out as bad. I just need to find more time to read it. I do wish the e-subscriptions of magazines in general were included in the paper subscription or more affordable. I can get a good deal on the print version, but to download it on my ipad is always full price, which seems silly.
Glad that I finally got a subscription! I always was stealing BHG from the Dr's office for recipes, design ideas & gardening trends!
I have reading Better Homes and Gardens for years. I love it and now my daughter read it to. Then we exchange thoughts and ideas.
LOVE this magazine! its one of my favorites. i really enjoy the holiday issues, esp christmas. the recipes are amazing and the decorating ideas are always unique!
Love the reminders especially with a hective work schedule and day to day activities. Since I only check my personnal email 3-4 times a week its a good thing that the reminder is there to let me know of upcoming renewals and possible renewal base on satisfaction.
This magazine is great for the reader who has a low to modest home decor budget. It has a lot of budget friendly easy to do projects and ideas.
This magazine offers a lot of great gardening and life articles and tips. Great recipes, too!
Beautiful photos, interesting articles, great recipes. Love this magazine.
I bought this magazine as a gift for my mother. She loves it! After reading them, she even saves them for me. As a teacher, there are great craft ideas for children.

Better Homes & Gardens Subscription Video Review
Hi. I’m Patricia Lopez.
If you’re interested in a subscription to Better Homes & Gardens I’d love to take a minute to tell you a little about what I love most about the magazine. For starters, it has a great focus on family and for me the definition of home is family. The fact that I can always read about how to make my home more organized, efficient and comfortable for my family and friends is why I enjoy reading Better Homes & Gardens.
My favorite section of the magazine is the Better section, which highlights ways to improve your life with topics like the latest allergy updates and recommended vacation spots depending on your family’s personality. Recommended products are featured here too and Better Homes & Gardens focuses on presenting the best consumer products available. It even has an annual ‘best products’ awards as judged by its readers.
I also love the decorating advice. The ideas are always creative, simple and budget-friendly covering tips like 50 ways to boost your style with paint, paper and fabric, or fresh ways to summarize your home. And you have to love the recipes the magazine features. They are always healthful and rarely complicated. I appreciate that each issue usually highlights a new way to use ingredients, like sunflower seeds or ginger and highlights ways I can use leftovers.
The “I Did It” column on the last page of each issue is also a great read. This column features home and garden projects readers have successfully pulled off by themselves, like a backyard garden makeover or creating a craft space out of an empty closet.
