I don't understand why there are no discounts for this magazine. In the last several years, numerous soap operas have been cancelled so there is no reporting. After the end of this year I believe there will only be five soaps left on the air. How can the publisher justify charging more for this magazine when there is significantly less soaps to report on!

Young and The Restless

I have been watching this soap since the beginning...So, I am close to 60. I have stopped watching. As I get older, I lose more and more people that I love and have enough sadness in my life. How could they do that to Lily and Cane, and Victoria and Billy? I dont watch anymore...... No happiness

A must for Soap fans

By evwings

from Southeast

I have watched Soaps for what seems forever, certainly most of my adult life. Lately I haven't been able to watch as I used to, and Soap Opera Digest magazine has helped me to keep up. I read about all the shows, even if I haven't watched in a very long time, if ever. The reviews, etc. bring me to believe I could tune into any show and know the characters quite well. I enjoy reading a lot of the columns, especially the one that names the tunes that play on shows.

Love the Magazine

By HalfMpT

from Tallahassee, FL

Soap Opera Digest magazine is a great magazine to get all the upcoming gossip. It has great articles and features. My favorite features are the timelines of characters and shows. The only negatives I have is that DAYS, Y&R, and GH ALWAYS get the cover stories, and my favorite shows are AMC and OLTL, which rarely get a cover story. ALso, I tend to get my subscriptions late often, but I've heard that has to do with the Post Office.

Receiving Soap Opera Digest

from d

Sometimes you get them, sometimes you won't! I sent in my renewal fee of $51.88 for my subscription on 5/11/09. It was not due to expire without interruption until June 8, 2009. I have been subscribing for over 30 years and everytime it gets close to expiring, I have trouble! I like to keep my money in my bank building interest as long as possible. But I make sure I pay for my renewal in plenty of time to avoid interruption as you like to threaten! I have not received a SOD since the beginning of May. Can you explain this to me, PLEASE????

Soap Opera Digest Magazine Subscription Review

Video Transcript
Hi, I’m Dave from

I love to watch Soap Operas, but sometimes it’s hard to stay up-to-date with all the episodes. That’s why I love Soap Opera Digest. From Days of Our Lives to The Bold and the Beautiful, Soap Opera Digest features episode summaries and highlights that help me keep up with all my Soaps. It’s packed with reviews and timelines so effective that I feel like I could tune in to any show and know characters well enough to understand a Soap I’ve never even watched.

My favorite piece is the weekly Star Style feature. As an amateur fashionista, I love to browse the different outfits and makeup of my favorite Soap stars, while enjoying the entertaining reviews of the Soap Opera Digest Style Squad. It offers a front row seat into the world of celebrity fashion dos and don’ts. Not only do I love to peruse the fashion world, but I enjoy knowing all about the hottest new makeup trends. The Beauty Bar editorial features advice from the stars about anything from how to attain that flawless complexion to how to do the perfect Smokey eye.

I enjoy reading the columns about the latest looks that my favorite stars recommend. However, Soap Opera Digest doesn’t just feature episode summaries and the latest gossip. The Let’s Make a Meal editorial contains amazing recipes recommended by the Soap stars themselves! It highlights favorite recipes for special occasions, whether that is a romantic evening or family gathering.

But, nothing excites me more than Soap Opera Digest’s special edition editorials. From the Daytime Emmy’s to November Sweeps, I look forward to following the exciting gossip and drama described within each issue. I love to read the articles on nominations and the best and worst red carpet fashion trends.

If you love soap operas, the current Soap Opera Digest subscription deals at are the best way to keep up with the characters and stories you love, while also perusing the latest drama and fashion of the soap opera stars. I can read about behind-the-scenes gossip, "celebrity profiles"

, exclusive interviews, and breaking news—all about my favorite Soaps! If you know someone who enjoys soap operas, this is the perfect magazine for them.
