My husband and I both enjoy Coastal Living! Since we live in South Florida, spend summer vacations on an island in Georgian Bay, Ontario, and just bought our retirement home on the water in Coastal Georgia, shores, coasts and water are a focus for us. It's fun and interesting to read about places both familiar and unfamiliar.

The covers of Coastal Living used to look classic and inviting. Now it looks ordinary. The July /August issue is garish. Inside it is crowded. The feeling is not the relaxing atmosphere of living by the water. The photos may still be beautiful but the feeling I get from the magazine is negative. I don't want to pick it up or read it. I haven't looked at the last two issues. I am a long time subscriber but if my aversion continues I will probably cancel my subscription. I certainly would not pick it up in the store. It looks like just another magazine. Nothing special.

I really like this magazine. It really can cause you to do a little dreaming. It's nice to find out WHO to contact to plan a trip that's featured.
Coastal Living is a wonderful mixture of decorating, landscaping, entertaining, cooking...all with the beach as a backdrop. I don't like to be without an issue.
really enjoy this magazine
Coastal Living magazine is my favorite from any subscription that I receive. If you are a beach lover or just like the idea of sun drenched days and beautiful water views than this magazine is for you. I love the decorating ideas and the recipes.
The one or two recipes are usually very good. Pictures are great - good ideas for shore living.
Makes you want to live on the coast..... a good destination, a good place to live. This magazine will take you away OR give you great ideas on how to live by the water.
I have been getting Coastal Living magazine for 5 years and love it.
Coastal Living magazine contains a great variety of coastal related articles and information from recipes to undiscovered coastal communities.
I actively read Best Coastal Towns to Live In magazine's articles and others on where to live, retire, etc. I have to admit, I am puzzled with how the researchers and writers arrive at their conclusions. In 1978 I bought a townhouse in a then out-of-the-way place, Port Hueneme, CALIFORNIA for retirement. Port Hueneme is close to Malibu and Ventura but the price of ocean front and ocean close real estate is substantially less. You can still find ocean view condo's in the 200 thousand dollar range. Double or triple that in Malibu and Ventura. Today, excellent medical care, shopping and fine restaurants are close by. Los Angeles is relatively close with some of the best doctors and hospitals in the world which I use. I have often wondered why places like Port Hueneme never are seen on these well-thought out and researched lists.
Coastal magazine was recently delivered to my house by mistake; and I sent back that I didn't order it. Just out of curiosity, I recently took the issue with me on my 2-hour drive to our home on Cape Cod and read it from cover to cover and changed my mind! I just made the grilled clams with linguini and it was delicious! I loved all the articles and do spend some time on the Coast in Florida in the winter so I think I will subscribe and hope the new issues will be as nice as this one. Good Job to Coastal Living!
