I get Country magazine and Country Extra and I love every single issue. I absolutely love the beautiful pictures of nature and living a simple life. I also found this magazine in a doctor's office like some other reviewers. This is the only magazine that I subscribe to except for Birds and Blooms which is published by the same company.

My subscription ends in 2012 and the way Country magazine is today I will not renew. It is not the quality we have enjoyed in the past. My family has always enjoyed this magazine BUT it has changed in every way. The recipes are different and not sent in as before with a blue ribbon prize and the cook that made it. Will the magazine ever go back to the one that we have enjoyed so long?

Country magazine is a great publication from the publisher of Birds & Blooms. It is largely reader-submitted content with fun and feel-good articles about country living, along with helpful information on how-to's. There are also wonderful photographs of our beautiful country, both the majestic scenery and folksy country feel of farms and animals. The content is not limited to those who live in the country, simply enjoyable to view and read.

I really loved Country but when I ordered it I threw away the only one I had and now I am not receiving my magizines and dont have the magizine to call the right number to make sure i dont order 2 and they want a lot more money from the secind one i called very unhappy

I first read a Country magazine in a doctor's office while waiting for my Daddy to be evaluated for metastasized melanoma brain cancer. I grew up in the country - still live in the country and love country life. Having learned of my Daddy's illness was so devastating I could hardly deal with it emotionally and in reading the heart warming articles in that waiting room I was able to escape the reality I was facing with my Daddy at that moment. I must confess, the magazine stayed in my hands as we left the doctor's office as I wanted to find out how to get my own subscription and finish reading the article I had started reading. I have since given subscriptions to others as gifts.

I WAS GIVEN TWO ISSUES OF (COUNTRY), BY A NEIGHBOR, AFTER READING THE ISSUES, I IMMEDIATELY ORDERED MY OWN SUBSCRIPTION, FOR 2 YEARS. I ENJOYED THE STORIES AND THE PICTURES WERE FANTASTIC. MY 85 YEAR OLD MOTHER LIVES WITH ME, AND SHE COULDN'T LAY THE MAGAZINES DOWN UNTIL SHE HAD READ BOTH ISSUES, COVER TO COVER.
