this magazine obviously has no idea what real art is. They teach children the only kind of art is drawings and paintings. This magazine refuses to accept the fact that there are many different types of art (like music, photography, poems, etc.) They say they accept children's artwork, a type of 'advisory board' but I'm fairly certain they do not. They're artwork is so stiff and dull I would assume most uncreative adults make the magazine.
I subscribed to Creative Kids magazine for my girls when they are younger. It has been around for a long time and I recommend it for my friends with children, especially when they display a special artistic ability.
I did NOT enjoy this magazine, especially my daughter. We both enjoy art and writing and when we tried the magazine together, mostly for her, we did not like it. The covers, ugly, bland, horrible design and bad editing. I would give this 2 stars. So there!
