I just recently adopted a senior dog. This is my first dog in my adult life and I find the articles to be informative, not too wordy and easy to read. They cover from puppy to senior. I am enjoying this publication and I love all the dog photos!
I bought this for my nine-year old daughter who loves dogs. What a treat it has turned out to be! The articles are authoritative but not too long, so she is able to learn lots but not get bored and put it down. After she reads each issue, she then uses the fabulous photo spreads for arts & crafts projects. All in all, a great gift. Will keep the subscription going.

My kids and I sit down and read Dog Fancy magazine together every time we get one! The kids love learning about new breeds!
We have been getting Dog Fancy magazine for several years and all of the family wants the copies when we are done reading it. We have learned a lot about what foods not to feed the dog along with great training tips.
Dog Fancy magazine is absolutely amazing. It has great information if you own a dog and I own 3 so it is very helpful. It contains very good information on how to take care your dog as well as their health. They have different issues on different breeds so you'll learn lots of things about your dog's breed as well as other dog's breeds.
I am disappointed in Dog Fancy magazine. There are not enough training articles. The magazine is also very heavy on the breeder ads.
Dog Fancy magazine features a couple breeds each month. It has news and articles on the latest issues affecting dogs. I highly recommend this magazine to dog owners and fur parents.
Dog Fancy magazine is highly informational and written by professional dog enthusiasts who share their readers' passion for man's best friend! Beautiful photos, has a kid's corner for our younger friends, and is exceptionally well-informed. An excellent purchase for the price!
