I'm a college student, and I'm learning to cook (and eat healthy, I've lost 42 lbs in the past 10 months, mostly through healthy eating habits). The variety of recipes in this magazine is wonderful! My first issue I found at least 10 recipes I marked to try out. I made dinner for my parents and boyfriend, it was a Middle Eastern dish. I though it would be fun to try something different, and everyone really enjoyed it! As a newer cook, I found the recipes very easy to follow. Some of the tips were helpful, too (like rinsing canned beans or veggies before cooking in order to reduce sodium content). I'm a huge fan of this magazine because the recipes are tasty (some are even restaurant quality), but most are still easy and relatively quick to prepare (as a student who works part-time, the less Prep Time, the better!!). The best part about this magazine is that it's all healthy recipes and dishes, but doesn't lack ANY taste! Some of the ingredients may be harder to find, you may have to go to a specialty market or ethnic market, but 95% of the ingredients I'm able to find in my local supermarket (I'm in a Suburban area). There is a symbol key in the front, which indicates recipes that are Heart Healthy, Low Sodium, High Fiber, Low Cal, etc. This is great if you have diet restrictions, and in general most of the recipes are pretty healthy if you stick to the (reasonable) portions.

I love Eating Well. It features a variety of healthy recipes. Some including meat and some vegetarian. It's not just a perfect combo of nutrition and gourmet.
Today is 9/28/11. I subscribed on-line to your magazine on 8/22/11. I checked to see when my subscription will start and it said, DEC.'11. My credit card was charged immediatley after subcribing. I have emailed customer service TWICE, with no response to find out if it really isn't going to start until Dec. In this day and age when circulation is down for newspapers & magazines. I would have expected better customer service! order #:5102374101336
I look forward to EatingWell magazine. The articles are current, informative and entertaining. The recipes are easy to make and many have become my family's favorites.
EatingWell magazine has some of the best recipes I have ever tried! They are healthy, but have delicious flavors. Most recipes have a picture, and recommendations on what to serve with it so it can be a whole meal. I don't like repeating meals very often and this magazine is perfect for our family!

I got my first issue of EatingWell magazine and cooked 3 of the recipes in the first week. Love it!
EatingWell magazine has healthy and easy recipes. I love this magazine!
EatingWell is a very classy magazine. Most of the recipe ingredients are whole foods/fresh varieties.
