About Elle Decor

First published in 1989, each monthly issue is packed with photos of rooms decorated by America's most famous home decorators. Home decorating trends in color, furniture, and design style are featured as tastes change. Celebrity homes are often showcased in the magazine through stunning photography, and interviews with the featured stars and their home designers.

Additional photos throughout the magazine provide inspiring visuals and bring to life the international flair encompassed in the magazine. Elle Decor provides all of the resources you need to find the accessories, art, furniture, and bedding you see page after page. Features include story after story of high-profile designers who have renewed and restored houses and apartments as well as how they enjoy their homes. Each issue includes these regular sections: "Trend Alert," a focus on an up-and-coming trend; "Shortlist," a compilation of a top designer's must-haves; "Truth in Decorating," advice on how to incorporate almost any piece into your home; "Design Solutions," a how-to on overcoming a featured design challenge; "Punch List," what you need to renovate or update now; "Daniel's Dish," a featured recipe from star chef Daniel Boulud; "Elle Decor Goes to...," a peek at a certain city's style, including its food and culture; and "Resources," a guide to finding the items featured in every issue.

Throughout the year, Elle Decor regularly publishes special issues, such as "The A-List Issue," "The Luxury Issue," "The Makeover Issue," and "The International Issue," which is a round-up of the best from the magazine's international editions.

Anyone looking for fashionable and tasteful decor tips for their home would love a subscription to Elle Decor magazine!

Elle Decor Subscription Video Review

Hi, I’m Christen from Magazines.com,

Like its fashionable counterpart, Elle Décor magazine is dedicated to bringing a sense of elegance and unparalleled style into your home.

Each issue—advertising included—is filled with eye-catching rooms, unique pieces and attention-getting color. As you would expect, the latest trends in decorating are broken down and the most luxurious touches are highlighted. There’s also plenty of advice on renovating projects and efficiency in design. But what you may not expect is that not everything is so out-of-reach. For example, one of the latest issues featured how one designer was turning stickers into elegant wall coverings, along with tips on finding affordable rugs and other accents.

Better keep your wish list handy because you’ll see plenty in Elle Décor that you’ll want to buy—or at least search for something like it that’s more affordable. Especially with its listings like “Sensational Stores Around the World.”

While it may be considered the high fashion of home décor, don’t dismiss it, even if you wouldn’t be so daring with your own style. Just getting a glimpse of the trendiest interiors is a treat and education in itself.

By reading Elle Décor magazine, you just may be surprised at how your tastes may be challenged and changed.

If you love home design and decorating then I suggest checking out the current Elle Décor magazine subscription deals going on at Magazines.com.

While it features some beautiful design ideas and products, this magazine caters to a high-end audience and is very ad-heavy. If you have $60 to spend on a beach towel or are adept at finding low-price substitutions, this magazine can be inspirational. Unfortunately I'm neither rich nor seasoned in knock-off design, so each reading usually just leaves me feeling incredulous that people will spend so much on things that can be had for much cheaper. I'm well-educated and middle class, but I guess this magazine is intended for people of nobler origins. My subscription was a gift and I won't be resubscribing.

Much Improved!

By nannywynne

from Hudson Valley, New York

Elle Decor magazine has far surpassed other home magazines in the last year. Other than British publications, Elle Decor is now my favorite magazine. The editorial content is beautifully photographed and depicts homes/lifestyles that are of the highest design quality, yet representative of homes that I believe the design-conscious reader can aspire to replicate.

Regret This Subscription

By Trig

from USA

Elle Decor magazine has little to offer. So far, I have spent about 10 minutes looking at each issue, and that is it. There are so many ads that I think the real content is about 15 pages, and in my opinion the style isn't great.

Always Good

By Sam

from Charlotte, N.C.

I always read Elle Decor features; they are well written and even if I do not particularly like the design, I am interested in the motivation and inspiration for the work.
