For this magazine, if your interested in movies, or musicals/plays, you will be hooked. I loved going through it and finding movies I have seen or want to see and read what the magazine had to say. In the magazine they talk about "The Oscars", which I did watch, and they said it was the least viewed Oscars so far. Looking back I can kind of see why. It seemed to be slow in pace and the jokes...weren't funny. I did love the article on the famous musical "Rent", which is one of my favorites and I am sad that it's no longer going to be on broadway, which I guess I can kiss the dream of seeing it there good-bye. The reviews in this magazine are amazing and very truthful. They are not afraid to hold back. The only problem I have with this article is that they have many adds, but your going to find that in any magazine and lots of the adds were about TV shows and such, so it all works out. I recommend this to anyone because if you love movies then this will be great, or even if you just want to know how a movie did that your dying to see, which could save you 8 bucks in the long run.

I love Entertainment Weekly! It's not about who is cool and trendy, it's about what is going on in entertainment: what is coming up on fave shows what fave actors are up to, a bit of dirt on new productions and the guest author series is usually hilarious.

Pop culture can be a dirty word for those who consider themselves smart and highbrow, usually pseudo-intellects. Entertainment Weekly is the perfect companion for those who love pop culture, but don't fancy the likes of People, US Weekly or In Touch. The articles are witty and intelligent, even if you don't always agree with their critics; the stories and coverage are timely; and ultimately, it's just plain entertaining! You even learn a few big SAT words while you're at it.

I expect this magazine every Friday, and I wait for it. I love reading the reviews for all areas of entertainment including books, video games and technology. I save the preview issues (fall tv, summer movies, oscar favs) to look back at expectations. I have a 1995 issue that previewed a little show call ER, they weren't sure how it would do.
Have been subscribing since the beginning, and will continue to do so. Highly recommend!
Overall great magazine
Excellent current information on TV, Films, Books, Plays and all pop culture. Subscriptions get free access to the iPad edition too which makes this extremely good value for money
Great Mag. Love getting caught up on all entertainment news.
It's been a while since I've been an EW subscriber. I have to say I've missed it. Now that the digital edition available for no extra cost, I'm loving it even more.
This magazine is one of the best out there. You are getting the up to date pop culture weekly.
this is by far my favorite gossip magazine. it is more focused on stories and intersting articles rather than tons of pictures you see in every other gossip mag.love the weekly tv guide inside

Entertainment Weekly Magazine Subscription Video Review
Hi. I’m Patricia Lopez, here at Magazines.com to tell you a little about Entertainment Weekly Magazine. Entertainment Weekly is an excellent resource for all that’s hot in pop culture. From music and movies to television and books, Entertainment Weekly covers it all. One of my favorite things about Entertainment Weekly is their Must List, which is a weekly list of the top ten things that they love in entertainment. It helps me find new movies, TV shows, DVDs, CDs, and books that I might have otherwise overlooked.
As a movie buff, my absolute favorite issues of Entertainment Weekly are their Summer and Fall movie preview issues. I love to see their sneak peaks, feature articles, and reviews about upcoming blockbusters. Their Critical Mass chart lets me easily scan the grades assigned by various critics to new movie releases, so I know which flicks are worth seeing over the weekend. The Box Office Chart is also fun to see where my favorite movies are stacking up.
One section that always makes me laugh is the TV sound bites, which highlights some of the funniest and most unusual quotes from the week in television. Their What To Watch guide also gives a great overview of some of the upcoming highlights on various shows. And their weekly ratings chart lets me know if my favorite shows are in the top 25. In addition to movie and TV news, Entertainment Weekly also devotes a couple pages to music and book reviews. They cover everything from bestsellers to some of the more unusual releases.
While there are other magazines out there covering movies, television, and music nobody else covers it all like Entertainment Weekly does in one magazine. It’s a one-stop source for everything in pop culture. And it really is a fun read, right up to the very last page, which is called The Bullseye. The Bullseye is a handy recap of all the hits and misses from the week in pop culture news.
An Entertainment Weekly subscription is perfect for anyone who loves music, movies, television, and books. And with the current subscription offers at Magazines.com it’s a great way to keep up-to-date with everything going on in the world of entertainment.
