I realized that I should keep the great tips from Family Handyman somewhere for quick reference. Where else, but my computer. However, not all have a computer. I would like to suggest to Family Handyman that they produce an annual publication free or modest charge for subscribers for a year's worth of tips. Tips could be included in the last issue of the current year. Needless to say I enjoy and look forward to this publication.

I ordered Family Handyman magazine hoping that my teenage son would like to tinker with some of the items in the magazine. BUT, when I received the first issue, my hubby brought me a FULL PAGE ad that they had in their magazine for a SEX MOVIE! Yes, that's right! Fortunately hubby tore that one out before my son looked at the magazine. It's hard enough for us to raise our kids w/o having that thrown at them. I wrote the company about it. I can't believe that something that comes from Reader's Digest would have that type of ad in it! Just BEWARE!

We like the mix of quick tidbits and lengthier articles for the bigger projects. My husband really likes this magazine. We are not really magazine people, so we just get the 5x a year one so it is not overwhelming!

Hi. I’m Adam. When I’m not busy working in the marketing department here at Magazines.com, you can probably find me working on some type of home improvement project at my house.
As any homeowner knows, there’s always something that needs fixing in any house. My Family Handyman subscription has been a great resource with step-by-step instructions and how-to photos on practically any project you can imagine being faced with as a homeowner.
Family Handyman has definitely saved me time and money. Even when faced with something outside my skill level, or for those jobs that I just didn’t have time to do, I’ve always been able to find an article that at the very least gave me some peace of mind when I did have to hire a professional. I knew what questions to ask and was quickly able to tell whether or not I was talking to someone I wanted to hire to work on my home.
If you’re a do-it-yourselfer like me, a subscription to Family Handyman is the perfect magazine to add to your reading list. Every issue is packed full of the info and projects that all homeowners face.
