My daughter is not a little girl anymore, not quite a teenager yet. Has the fashion and beauty advice appropriate for 13 year olds. Has 'boy' information in terms of crushes. Has articles on BFF's and being a good friend and a strong individual. My daughter is excited every time it arrives!

This magazine was sold through school magazine sales as a fundraiser. The sales material printed this magazine to be for 9+ year olds. To my shock this magazine is very inappropriate for my 9 yr. old daughter who is really mature for her age. Articles on body image and how to get that boy to notice you are subjects for 13+. This is a teen magazine and should not have been promoted for girls 12 and under. I'm very disappointed with the purchase, and would not purchase it again.

While most topics are applicable to a broad spectrum of teens (14 and above), it seems that black girls are under represented in their particular hair and makeup needs. Plus it would be nice to see Black, Hispanic, Chinese, Japanese, Native American, South Sea Islander, etc., girls on the cover too. White girls are beautiful, but no more so than other colors of girls.
My daughter loves this magazine.

We bought this for our 11 and 14 year old through a school fundraiser. Neither one likes the magazine. They both feel it is too shallow and heavy on teen pop stars. They find the fashions laughable. We won't renew this subscription.

a great magazine for young tweens!
I ordered this magazine for my 10 year old & had to cancel it. The content was too mature. It was a good magazine, but I felt it was too early for my daughter to receive advice on sexual relations. It speaks directly & frankly about what to do if your boyfriend wants to have sex & similar situations. Great advice, but not for a 10 year old.
