Glamour magazine is a nice option in the Cosmo/Instyle/Elle genre of magazines. It has a good balance of informative articles vs style, does a nice job of not being overly sex focused (but does touch on relevant or interesting topics in that category, just doesn't overdo it), interviews a nice variety of stars/women making a difference.

Used to get this until they started to use too many luxury brands in their editorials. Who can afford $800 or $900 shoes or $1500 purses? It used to be a good magazine that did feature aspirational items, but they were at least with reach of those of us with good jobs! Now, Glamour is trying to be W or Vogue and it's not working!

this magazine gives you a dose of fashion, some fun sections, and at least 1 or 2 interesting stories in every issue. and its short enough to really read in a few hours!
There are way too many ads in Glamour magazine and not enough content. The items featured are over priced and not for people on a budget. The fashion that is featured in this magazine is not for an average woman, so I'm not quite sure who they are trying to target with that. I have canceled my subscription after a little over a year, the magazine has become overly repetitive!
Glamour magazine offers diverse content and many good articles and views. Love it!
I read Glamour magazine when I work out, since it's a light read and has an occasional serious article. Good beauty features, and I believe they try hard to appeal to the young, working woman. I do not like most of their fashion as in one article they suggest shoes for $500 and then in another article they talk about budgeting! Their fashion is very unrealistic especially in today's economy.
I wish Glamour gave more ways for the normal household income to be able to dress and do things like it shows.
I ordered Glamour magazine for my teenage daughter; she loves seeing the new fashion styles. I was excited for her to get it. When the magazine arrive, I was very disappointed. There are so many articles about sex. I was very surprised and very upset. I have to review the magazine before she looks at it and tear many pages out before she can see it.
I have tried every way I can to contact coustemer service and these people leave no trail as to a problem.I give up! Here it is I do not know how you got my name and address and at this point no longer care. I did not order your magazine , I don't want it! . Check in to how I wound up fighting to get off your list And quit billing for it.
I am just got out of college and started subscribing to Glamour. It's a very fun magazine. My only complaint is the products listed are a bit expensive. However, at least they are not as much as a whole bunch of other magazines out there (Elle, Instyle etc).

Glamour Magazine Subscription Video Review
Hi. I’m TV and Radio host Patricia Lopez and I’m at Magazines.com today to talk about some of my favorite magazines.
When people ask what some of my favorite magazines are, they're usually surprised to hear me say Glamour. I think they think Glamour is a shallow read, all about make-up, celebrities, sex and horoscopes. Yes, you'll find all those topics and others you would expect most women's fashion magazines to cover--beauty, fashion, health, men, love and life--but you'll also find relevant stories that are rare in other women’s magazines, like key details on what every woman should know about health-care reform, how to afford designer clothes on a real woman's salary and secrets to staying classy in a society where etiquette is a lost art.
The editors at Glamour magazine aren't afraid to shake up the formula with content, either. From monthly departments like “Real Stories” where the magazine profiles interesting, notable women to the “How to Do Anything Better Guide,” which I really enjoy.
I also love that Katie Couric has a Q & A column. Each month she interviews women (and sometimes men) on what makes them inspiring to other women. She’s interviewed everyone from the hottest celebrity-of-the moment to MSNBC personality Rachel Maddow to First Lady Michelle Obama.
Still, I have to admit that I also love the fashion and beauty coverage. From style features like “How to Dress Like a Goddess” to “Dress Your Body”, the tone encourages us all to have confidence in our own body types and not to be self-obsessed with being skinny.
If you’re considering subscribing to Glamour magazine I would bet you won’t be disappointed. And with Magazines.com’s current Glamour subscription rates you’ll be paying less than $2 an issue, well worth the features and content you get in this magazines.
