About Golf Magazine

Published since 1960, Golf Magazine is packed with how-to instruction, features, tournament coverage, reviews of new equipment, articles on travel and interviews with the pros. Every month, the magazine shares insider advice from the pros on the best golf clubs to use, the best golf gear to buy, and the best golf courses to play. In addition to interesting cover stories and features,

Golf Magazine's content is divided into the following sections: "Front 9," a round-up of golf etiquette, rules, and instruction; "Your Game," solutions to golfers' common complaints about their game; "The Shop," recommendations on everything from clubs to gear; "Best Trips," the best places to see golf's most breathtaking courses; and "Private Lessons," personalized golf instruction based on skill level and experience. Regular columns in every issue include: "The Rules Guy," a column examining the rules of the game; "Stats 'N' Stuff," interesting stats, quotes, and more about golf, tournaments, and the golfing lifestyle; "Swing Sequence," an instructional swing-by-swing look at a professional golfer's moves and the key takeaways; and "Teeing Off," a collection of the month's most beautiful golf shots.

Throughout the year, Golf Magazine publishes several special issues dedicated to major tournament previews, as well as others that may be related to golf instruction or gear. Every December the magazine recognizes one golfer in its "Player of the Year" issue.

Golfers who are passionate about the game--and looking to improve their own--would enjoy a subscription to Golf Magazine!

Golf Magazine Subscription Review

Hi, I’m Jay, the CEO of Magazines.com
Reading Golf magazine may not get you on the PGA Tour, but it could help improve your swing or lower your handicap. That’s because golfers—and readers—of all skill levels can take away something from the magazine’s focus on improving different aspects of the game. One of the most popular sections covers instruction, and uses visual aids as guides for fundamentals like putting or short game techniques.

Another well-read section in the magazine gives advice on equipment with reviews on clubs, drivers and irons. For some readers, the annual equipment issue is one they look forward to every year.

Golf magazine also incorporates a travel section of sorts into each issue with its trips and courses section. Here you’ll find best of lists of courses in the country or the world, as well as travel suggestions.

Even if you can’t afford, say, to visit the famed St. Andrews course in Scotland, the magazine offers plenty of feasible suggestions that can work into a number of budgets.

And if you’re more a fan of the professionals’ game than your own, Golf Magazine covers all the latest news in the sport, from the tournaments to in-depth interviews with players, caddies and more.

If you love golf I recommend you subscribe to Golf magazine. Thanks for stopping by Magazines.com today. If you have any questions please give us a call at 1-800-MAGAZINES. You can also find us on Twitter and Facebook. Whatever you need, we’re here to help.

This article has brought my golf game back. When i was younger (early 20's) I played alot and my handicap was low. Now getting older and having a family my time and my handicap has soared. This tip has resurected my game because it is so simple and takes the initial take away from the ball out of the picture. My swing can be simple and i don't have to try to fix all the bad things that a bad take away will give you. Thanks.

Billing

They offer 12 issues for $10 but just charged me $29.95 and billed my card without authorization from me. I have subscribed since the early 70's but will no longer.

I paid for 3-year subscription but on the address label it reads "sum 2013" 2283594097
Please change that to "sum 2015", or tell me who to contact to get this corrected.

Thanks,

A good magazine on golf and golfing techniques. More corrective tips would make magazine even better.

Magazine refuses to stpo mailings

By none

from d

My father-in-law has been dead for over a year and a half. Despite the fact that I have written to this magazine several times telling them of this, they refuse to stpo mailing requests to re-subscribe. I think it is ridiculous that they waste money with countless mailings to a deceased person's last address. It seems to me that the cost of the subscription could be substantially lowered for others if the magazine would honor a simple request to STOP mailing us. I would caution others to NOT buy this magazine because they will hound you - even after you die!

Great Purchase, will sign up for coming years

By alleyezoneme

I'm more of an average golfer not a beginner or pro and I think Golf Magazine is great for all levels. Some of the ads are great too and advertise very good deals. Everyone should subscribe--the magazine offers great tools and teaches techniques and about all products.
