I've been a subscriber for years, and there's rarely an article I pass up reading in this inspiring magazine.
nice articles, good collection
I am so impressed with Harper's. I'm a new subscriber--just read the Sept. '09 issue.
Harper's is well written by people who care about what they write. The articles can range from fairly short to fairly long. Whether it's about a political issue, modern day issues, something you should know about, etc, they always seem to be good articles. What surprised me is the writers are not afraid to use swear words. It's not an every-other-word thing, just here and there. Also, the articles seem to have a hip slant to them.
