Horse Illustrated subscription

By BrunoMarsFan

from NY, USA

I must say, being a horse lover, rider, and looking into owning, Horse Illustrated magazine is wonderful! I have learned so much from this from horse care, to riding and showing tips. I definitely recommend this magazine to any horse lover, adults and children. This magazine may not be so understandable for younger children, but as for the older children, maybe ages 10+ this magazine would be great. When I was shopping around for equestrian magazines, I wasn't sure which one to pick, and I surely am glad that I picked Horse Illustrated!

Awesome photos

By horsesrule

from Bakersfield California

Horse Illustrated magazine is one of my favorite horse magazines. Unfortunately I have a short attention span and some health issues so reading anything that is detailed and technical is just too difficult for me. Horse Illustrated magazine articles are informative but in a format that is easy for me to read and understand and enjoy. Plus the wonderful photos full of gorgeous horses always make me very happy.

Good General Information

By Red

from United States

I enjoy reading Horse Illustrated each month; it has plenty of good information. My complaint is that most of the information is traditional, if you know what I mean. There's not much attention given to natural health or natural horsemanship (Parelli is in there but he's only one of many trainers who teach it, would like to see some others). That being said, it's a good place to get lots of good general information that you can then research more deeply on your own.

Making Headlines in the May Issue

By Bee Gee

from Southaven, MS

I was just about to give up on Horse Illustrated magazine having anything, even a negative mention about the Tennessee Walking horse Mississippi Walking horse if I had my say about it) but so far these last two issues have had at least one article about them. I really enjoyed last month's issue about Elvis and his love for the breed. So I'll keep buying Horse Illustrated as long as the editors keep having at least one positive or negative article about this breed.
