I can't wait to receive each issue. Have had a subscription for over 10 years. An issue doesn't go by that I don't cut out at least 2 to 3 articles for further research. Often, there are small, helpful hints to save the average person money or keep up to date on a variety of issues.

I received this item as a gift. The person that sent it to me used an address that I never use for anything. If I get more than one or two pieces of mail there a month that's a lot. As soon as my subscription for Kiplinger's went through I started getting mail from every other finance and business magazine that wanted to sell me their product. I called Kiplinger's to be removed from the list but the mail keeps coming. They tried to tell me they did not sell my name but since nothing else has changed and I never got all of these offers before they have to be to the ones that sold my name. If you look at the bottom of one of the first pages of the magazine they disclose that they sell your information. They should at least give you a chance to opt out with a form with your first magazine before selling your name. Let's see your bank, or other financial company get away with this. I now have to take the time to opt out of every other offer that comes my way just so maybe I can put a stop to all of this junk mail. This really makes me mad because of the effort I now must put in to stop all of this junk from coming. Now my box fills up with junk in between the times I check it.

Great personal finance magazine

By QP

from Florida

The general personal finance articles on budgeting, saving, investing, taxes, etc. are what makes the magazine and generally better than SmartMoney or Money's articles in those subjects. The more in-depth investing articles on stocks, bonds and mutual funds are well written also. It's easy to read but still has a wealth of financial information. Think of Kiplinger's as more The Suze Orman Show than Wall Street Week, Fast Money or Mad Money. I still subscribe to Money Magazine as I feel both magazines are good and provide complementary information.

Concise stock analysis

By LBJ

from Norhtern VA

I really enjoy Kiplingers. It's an easy-read magazine, easy to navigate through the magazine to read what you want. They have some decent regular columnists. They have really good analysis on specific stocks and specific funds. James Glassman article are almost always educational, informative and spot-on with what you ought to be doing in the market.

A solid resource

By Rockland

from USA

Have subscribed to many financial publications over the years--Kiplinger PF, Forbes, Smart Money, Money Mag., Kiplinger Letter, Morningstar, Bloomberg. Have settled on Forbes and Kiplinger Personal Finance. Their content and recommendations are the best, their articles interpret data and draw concise conclusions.

Kiplinger's Personal Finance

By finnsky

This has been a favorite of my husband's for a few years now. If you are into finance some really good articles and information. Better than most finance magazines as articles are very practical.

Better Than Money Magazine

By summerskiss88

from Oklahoma

I like Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine better than Money Magazine because it seems to be geared toward the regular person, not the stockbrokers and rich people, unlike Money Magazine. It really does help with personal finance!

Best Purchase Ever

By Mickey

from New York

Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine is informative and in-depth. Its covers issues faced by most people and families these days - saving to purchase a home, funding a retirement plan, saving for college, comparing available long-term care coverages, etc.

Disappointed

By A

from Washington

I don't feel like Kiplinger's Personal Finance is a non-biased source for information. It is more like an infomercial. I recommend Money magazine over this one.
