About MAD Magazine
Content in the magazine is divided into a number of regular segments that include TV and movie parodies. Aside from its funny take on almost anything, MAD is perhaps best known for its fictitious mascot, Alfred E. Neuman. Chosen for his disposition to mischief, Neuman and his gap-toothed smile and misaligned eyes have appeared on the cover of most of the magazine's issues.
Inside MAD's pages, Neuman has masqueraded as everyone from Santa Claus to the Mona Lisa and Justin Bieber to Barack Obama. Each bi-monthly issue combines parodies of current events along with newsworthy details to add to the humor. The only annual issue that MAD publishes is its list of "The 20 Dumbest People, Events, and Things of the Year."
Anyone who appreciates a satirical approach to the headlines of the day would enjoy a subscription to MAD magazine!

Mad Magazine Subscription Review
Hi, I’m David from Magazines.com.
MAD Magazine is one of the most hilarious and satirical magazines of our day. It’s crammed with parodies and comics about current events, politics, and entertainment. MAD is great at poking fun of the latest pop culture antics in a way that is sure to leave you in stitches. The clever and biting articles always provide much-needed laughs, and the parody advertising is brilliant and spot-on.
One of my favorite features is the Fold-in, an amusing comic that tricks the eye. It’s a super cool illustration that you fold in, instead of out, to reveal the clever answer to a joke at the top of the page. However, I also really like the Spy vs. Spy comic strip, featuring the iconic White Spy and Black Spy setting traps for each other, only to wind up caught in their own traps!
I can always count on MAD magazine to be full of biting satirical articles about the latest news and politics. From the presidential election to the Weiner scandal, MAD always has a humorous take on the most outrageous stories.
MAD also features sidesplitting parodies of the hottest movies and TV shows. I love reading snarky reviews celebrating the end of the Twilight series or the hilarious comics highlighting differences between the average public school and Hogwarts. Another fun highlight of MAD magazine is the annual January issue, which features the aptly named, “MAD 20” – a list of the 20 dumbest people, events, and things from the past year. It’s a great way to look back at all the stupid and funny events of the previous year since it zones in on scandals, politics, memes, and celebrity gossip.
If you have a satirical sense of humor, then you’ll love MAD magazine. Check out our current MAD magazine subscriptions deals at Magazines.com, and don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have.

I really loved Mad Magazine when I was young, so I bought a subscription for my teenage son. He loves the wittiness and irreverence as much as I do! We watch the show on TV, too!
I enjoyed Mad Magazine as a kid and all these years later my 12 year old is addicted to! This is a very satirical mag, great for kids who understand 2nd degree humor and have a knowledge of politics and world issues. If not it also contains great spoofs on TV shows, celebrities and movies.
You need to have a sense of humor for MAD Magazine. It covers everything from politics to people in the news but in a very humorous way!
I find it offensive that someone suggested that Mad Magazine is for adults with low standards.I am someone of great dignity with superior standards and I get a kick out of the magazine along with my co-workers.
MAD Magazine rocks and I hope it will keep coming to all because even the grumpiest will laugh.
I have read MAD Magazine since I was 10 or 11 and I have loved it ever since. The incredible humor is awesome and there has got to be something enjoyable in there for anyone in any walk of life.
hey i need help with my work.
This magazine is awsome! I love how they even make their own ads. They fmake fun of REAL current events and include some facts to make it even funnier.
I was introduced to MAD when I was 13 - way back ... in the late 60's. I loved it then and enjoyed the sarcasm, but I didn't get all the double content. I introduced my son to MAD when he was about 11 - he doesn't get all of it but loves the magazine. It may not be the best reading material but it does encourage children to read.
