Most technical big game fishing magazine on December 13, 2007 by don from northern Calif, mexico

  • Pros: Good on technique
  • Cons: Mostly about fishing off Long Island

Probably the best technical articles on big game fishing. Most are written by boat captains and fishermen. The writing quality is often not as slick as professional full time authors but the content is there. Not widely distributed outside New England and Long Island

Too many Repeated Articles on March 29, 2007 by MarlinMan

I am an avid fisherman and After 2 yrs of getting the Big Game Fishing Journal I was VERY dissapointed to see many of the same articles repeated many times. I will Not renew, I feel it is a waste of money to see the same thing over and over again.
