• Pros: This magazine is WONDERFUL for kids. (In & out of Scouting!!!)

I was in Scouting as a youth and I still have many of my Boys Life magazines!!! Boys Life not only encouraged me but, as I look back, also helped me grow a little too!!!

I have a 7 year old Cub Scout and I have been a Den leader and active in the Pack otherwise for 2 years. This magazine is an excellent resource. He loves to read it every month and it is an excellent way for me to plan activities. The magazine has things that active outdoor loving boys will love. The only thing I have against it is the fact that it is VERY ad heavy. Most to all of the ads pertain to outdoors, video games, etc. Things boys like, but it is a pain when my son asks for something in the magazine that only Donald Trump could afford. For Scouters, I highly recommend this magazine along with Scouting magazine for Leaders.
