• Pros: Good section on Casino action outside of LV and AC
• Cons: Their sign up coupons always seem to run to late to be used by many, too much AC coverage it seems to be the emphasis.

I've generally enjoyed my subscription to Casino Player for over 15 years and 4 years with their sister publication Stictly Slots. My subscriptions expired last year and I never got a request from them to resubscribe. This is a change from my experience with other magazines. Guess they really don't want subscriptions any more.

The magazine is late if you get it at all. Just got February issue and its the 20th. They have happenings and slot tournament schedules. By the time you get the magazine they are over! Same thing with concerts. If you get the magazine on the 20th and Seinfeld's Show is on the 15th, what good does that do? Don`t waste your money!

• Cons: that the post office always stole my copy so now i buy it off the newsstand.

they keep you informed about all the casinos in the USA, give you reviews on casinos not based in the US and offshore sportsbooks, happenings or non-happenings in the USA regarding internet gambling, entertainment at the casinos, strategies for gambling, poker, blackjack, etc., a very enjoyable read, I always look forward to each month's copy.

I only read one review in this magazine, proclaiming the Epic buffet at the Hollywood Casino in Aurora Illinois, "best buffet." After rolling around on the floor for several hours, I used the magazine to wipe up a spill, and have never read one since. Clearly, as anyone who has eaten at the Hollywood knows, this mag doesn't do it's homework.
