Classic Toy Trains magazine has good tips and suggestions. It has helped us with layouts and wiring. A bit ad heavy, but I have found a lot of great things that have helped us.

  • Pros: about the only magazine in this realm.
  • Cons: too much money compared to other toy train magazines

There are many helpful articles and reviews in issues,showcasing mostly classics,but some people's layouts have new stuff- trains- cars-track-switches-power-etc.The mag is very heavy with advertising,and compared with other toy train magazines,does not have very much appropriate material.A poor value for the cost.
