My Husband Enjoys Cooking Light on November 11, 2009 by Lynn from San Francisco

  • Pros: Good recipes
  • Cons: Ads

I subscribed to Cooking Light magazine for my husband as a Christmas gift. My idea was for him to incorporate their recipes in our diets for a better eating habit, since he's the cook in the family. (I got lucky!) He seems to enjoy this magazine.

Its very true on November 10, 2009 by PJ from Michigan

Cooking Light is a very good magazine. It gives you plenty of recipes. There are recipes from appetizers to entrees, soups to deserts and then everything else in between. They even tell you what wines go with what food. Cooking Light is also for anyone who wants to learn about cooking healthy.

Good Healthy recipes on November 10, 2009 by UARzrback from Arkansas

  • Pros: Variety of low fat options useful to South Beach diet.
  • Cons: Need more down-home family food recipes.

Cooking Light magazine provides a good variety of recipes. Some of the recipes are a bit complex to prepare and use many ingredients but there are always healthy and tasty choices!

Great Cooking Ideas on November 10, 2009 by BanannaM from Washington, DC

  • Pros: Variety & Quantity of Recipes

Overall I really enjoy Cooking Light magazine, and look forward to it each month. Each issue includes a wide variety of recipes. I have tried many of the recipes - all have been at least okay - some I wouldn't make again, and others have become family favorites. I love being able to go to the website to print out the recipes so that I don't have to rip out the pages from the magazine or type up the recipes myself.
