Subscribing Since First Issue on November 10, 2009 by Tree from Stow, Ohio

  • Pros: great recipes
  • Cons: none that I can find

I started a Cooking Light subscription when my niece was selling for school. I have renewed every year since.

Those pictures really make you hungry on November 10, 2009 by Shorty from New York State

  • Pros: Excellent photos, background information on cooking techniques and ingredients.
  • Cons: Many ads

I really enjoy Cooking Light magazine. I am always looking for new, different, healthy foods, and I find so many ideas in this magazine. The related articles are educational and enlightening. The variety of recipe selections is exciting and of excellent quality. I definitely feel safe and secure trying recipes from Cooking Light.

Worst Purchase Ever! on August 01, 2009 by Tiny from Wisconsin

  • Cons: every other page is an ad

I got a year subscription for Cooking Light magazine and I haven't used one recipe yet. They are usually too costly to make! Plus there are too many ads.I know magazines have to have ads but every other page is way too much!

Everything for Healthy Living on May 28, 2009 by NursinGirl94 from Madison, WI

  • Pros: Nutrition for recipes, credible, LOTS of recipes, workouts
  • Cons: None

I TRY to live a healthy lifestyle and provide that for my family. Cooking Light has truly yummy recipes that I don't ever have to worry about if it's healthy or not. I don't have time to read 5 other magazines on beauty and fitness either so the stories on working out, fitness, home and beauty are just perfect for me. This is the only magazine I look forward to each month and absolutely will not share!

A Collage on May 04, 2009 by Raymero from Washington State

  • Pros: very good on the recipes
  • Cons: I do not like the non-cooking content

I subscribed to Cooking Light for what the cover advertised: light cooking. I prefer to buy other magazines for my fashion, gardening, exercising and travel needs and I do not appreciate these topics in the magazine I purchase for cooking information.
