  • Pros: we love the color photos and the variety of designs people come up with for the same vehicle!
  • Cons: cost of some of these restorations--the avaergae joe could not afford them

  • Pros: Good tech articles, nice feature vehicles
  • Cons: Duplicate of sister magazine

Custom Classic Trucks magazine is one of two magazines published by the same company that focus on classic trucks. Although it seemed they initially intended for one to be more directed to customs and the other to feature restorations, they have so distorted that distinction that they now have almost identical content. This is not a BAD thing if you are a truck fan like me - essentially it is like getting two issues each month of the same great magazine, so what's not to like? Check out BOTH Classic Trucks and Custom Classic Trucks.

  • Pros: many good articles that are informative
  • Cons: too many ads

Many of the articles in Custom Classic Truck are well thought out and illustrated. The layout is pretty good and the index for articles is right on. The only real problem this magazine has is too tear-out ads that make turning the pages difficult.
