I was very surprised when I was trying to renew my subscription to Electronic House to find that it had a poor rating on this site. Then when I looked closer I saw why. If you are looking for the review of a $299 Best Buy system this is not your magazine. If you are looking for reviews of real home theater gear this is your best bet. They don't play favorites with the folks who pay the highest advertising bill that month like a lot of electronic magazines do. If it stinks they say it and that's that. Electronic House is a great magazine if you're looking to set up a REAL home theater and spend a few grand or more. If not stick to Google and ebay I hear they have a lot of stuff for under $100 and don't dis the people who do this for real. Well I guess its time to get back to my over the top theater system.

This is my first Electronic House issue. I'm glad I got an online subscription because I wouldn't like to pay much more for the over-the-top setups I saw in this issue.
