For the movie lovers! on March 05, 2008 by CJW from Dyersville, IA

  • Pros: Great articles on movies and in the issue about the oscars it has a nice article on the famous musical "Rent"
  • Cons: Just some what full of adds but your going to find that in any magazine.

For this magazine, if your interested in movies, or musicals/plays, you will be hooked. I loved going through it and finding movies I have seen or want to see and read what the magazine had to say. In the magazine they talk about "The Oscars", which I did watch, and they said it was the least viewed Oscars so far. Looking back I can kind of see why. It seemed to be slow in pace and the jokes...weren't funny. I did love the article on the famous musical "Rent", which is one of my favorites and I am sad that it's no longer going to be on broadway, which I guess I can kiss the dream of seeing it there good-bye. The reviews in this magazine are amazing and very truthful. They are not afraid to hold back. The only problem I have with this article is that they have many adds, but your going to find that in any magazine and lots of the adds were about TV shows and such, so it all works out. I recommend this to anyone because if you love movies then this will be great, or even if you just want to know how a movie did that your dying to see, which could save you 8 bucks in the long run.

Entertainment Weekly on October 23, 2007 by Aliqat from Seattle, WA

  • Pros: Great Magazine current & factual
  • Cons: I don't know of any

Entertainment Weekly is a great magazine for those of us that LOVE TV. It keeps you up to date with all your favorite shows and actors, New shows coming up, and old shows being cancelled. Indepth interviews with actors and great pictures. There is no sensationalism just great reporting. I would highly recommend Entertainment Weekly and this subscribtion price is excellent.
