Equus magazine always has good articles from veterinarians and other professionals. The articles cover a wide variety of equine health topics and will help owners be more aware of health issues with their own horses.

I subscribed to this magazine since the first issue. My horse of 38 yrs recently died. It has been a wonderful read all these years. Very informative and up to date regarding all issues in dealing with your horses. I am donating all my issues to the local riding club for the young horse people to read and heed.

  • Pros: Good articles addressing a lot of concerns. Lots of information on current happenings regarding the horse industry.

Great magazine, in fact my favorite and I subscribe to several. I especially like the Case Report and True Tale in each issue. There are always great articles about potential concerns about one's horses.

There isn't a better equine magazine published that writes articles in layman's terms for health and behaviour issues. It has answered numerous questions in caring for my two OTTB's.

Equus Explains! on September 25, 2007 by Equus and Horse Lover from Sidney, ME

I was having trouble with my horse Pixie about a year ago, but Equus solved everything. They have advice on real horse problems that Pixie had. I followed the advice and Pixie and me are fine now (not to mention best of friends). I've already recommended Equus to three of my horse owner friends.
