  • Pros: Colorful pictures, simple ingredients, big selection
  • Cons: A little too plain & boring for one who loves to cook

I brought this for myself who loves to cook. I found the recipes so-so, nothing that made me excited to go to the kitchen (unlike their magazine). I gave it a college student who wanted to move away from dining hall food. She found half the recipes useful.

  • Pros: easy to follow, great photos, lots of suggestions for personalizing dishes
  • Cons: would have preferred a hardcover instead of paperback

I bought this cookbook about a month ago and honestly I can't say enough good things about it. The recipes are easy to follow, there are tons of suggestions for personalization, and also recipes in which leftovers can be used. There is a photo of every recipe as well. Love this cookbook!
