I like GL, but its more teen centered than younger kids (no offense 11 and unders). I think that you should be at least 12 to start reading GL. It's not bad, it just has more boy stuff than younger girls need.

GL has tips on boys, makeup, the news on the hottest celeberties, contests, emmbarresing moments, horoscopes, advice columns..... Theres something for everyone! I myself use all the great makeup tips and read everything in it. I've never heard someone call GL boring.
