  • Cons: Wow is it detailed for the average golfer

Golf Illustrated is well written and is in-depth for serious golfers but also provides average golfers with basics. If you want to improve to a high level then this is an excellent choice. The authors try hard in many ways to get their main points across and generally can but it does take focus to read the articles--not for the faint of heart--sort of like facing a difficult course--can I implement this info and manage the course? If you can then the fear factor dissipates.
