• Pros: Fairly portrays mulitple gun dog breeds, flushing and pointing
• Cons: Only comes once every 2 months.

NOT a field trial magazine! Directed at HUNTERS! Fairly covers different flushing, retrieving, and pointing dog breeds with great 'how to' and hunting articles. If you are a hunter, gun dog owner or future gun dog owner, this is for you. Own a pointer and wonder about flushers & retrievers or vice versa? This magazine will get the juices flowing. Gun Dog will not only be welcomed every 2 months but you will anxiously waiting on subsequent issues. Bird dog owners should subscribe to this one FIRST. I will warn you that others will pale in comparison, been there done that.

this is a great magazine for anyone who loves hunting and hunting dogs. i started subscribing a year before i purchased my first hunting dog and it was a great deal of help in the process. A++ magazine..highly reccommended.
