  • Pros: Timely detailed reviews by pro A-V writers
  • Cons: Reviews sometimes a little too detailed ... Small print on color page layout is difficult to read for most older readers

As a somewhat-early adopter, I've been a subscriber to this magazine for many years. Lately, much emphasis has been given to 3-D TV, which I am unlikely to adopt. However, in terms of overall coverage of the A-V home theater scene, this publication would be hard to beat. And if you shop around, you can get some good deals on subscription rates.
