I ordered International Living on one of those bad days at work where I wanted nothing more than to retire on $800 a month to some pretty beach somewhere in the equatorial region. In return, I did get some good reports on how to do this, but mostly I have gotten three to five emails a day for real estate deals in Panama that I can't afford, investment opportunities that I can't afford, and invitations to seminars (that I can afford) on how to buy property (that I can't afford). I've also gotten email on how to quit my job and travel for free by becoming a travel writer (buy this book! attend this seminar!) and, today, something about buying gold backed dollars. That was what prompted me to write this. Oh, it's not technically spam because I did sign up for their emails, but give me a break. Obviously this magazine is written for someone in a different tax bracket. We do fairly well for ourselves and could actually probably retire in Panama right now (from what the magazine says), but all the rest of this stuff? Not hardly. Save your money... and if you do decide to get this magazine, do NOT use your real email address when signing up for access to their site.
