This is the best magazine for jewelery artists. Other magazines print the same articles over and over again and do not teach its readers about new techniques.

Most indepth jewelry making magazine ever on October 16, 2011 by me from Wilmington, NC

  • Pros: Step by step instructions for beginners to experts
  • Cons: I wish it came out daily

This is my favorite jewelry magazine, I have been getting this for 6 years and it does not ever get old. Most up to date techniques and shows different ways to make the best designs.

  • Pros: The projects are very fashion forward, teaching the newest trends.
  • Cons: Would like to see more clay, metal works in details...not just in the showcase.

I too, am a long time subscriber of Jewelry Artist, who left when the magazine became too much about the stones, but these days the magazine. is better than ever! Not only did I finally learn to work a decent chainmail, I look forward to something new with every issue including saving lots of money by making my own earring hooks!
