While the content of Log Home Living magazine is very good, the magazine has reduced the number of pages and accordingly the articles. It's approx. 1/3 smaller than in years past. I understand the economy has reduced advertisers but the magazine is becoming worthless without the articles. The ads are nice but very repetitive and therefore not worthy past one or two issues.

I am in the process of designing a new log home and from Log Home Living magazine I get new and innovative ideas and new product ideas to use each month. The articles are always interesting.

At least 50% of the space in Log Home Living magazine is taken up by ads. Not worth the price they charge for a subscription. Few articles are actually informative. Often seems like it's just the Architectural Digest of log cabins. I won't be renewing my subscription just for the pictures.

• Cons: Near useless for log home owners

I've lived in my log home for almost four years. Love it! And when deciding on the log home, this was a great source of info. However, there's next to nothing for people who already have log homes. Nearly all articles are aimed at those considering building or purchasing a log home. Basically, it's an ad vehicle for home builders and log product sellers. The few articles for those living in a log home are extremely basic info/common sense type of things. Still, the pictures are pretty and there's a ton of good info for those thinking of living in log. And hey - if you're thinking of it - don't wait - I live in my log home full time and I love my home every single day of my life!

Log Home Living is one of those magazines you just can't put down. Cover to cover it's filled with beautiful pictures of log homes, furniture and floor plans. Log home lovers and even those just daydreaming will find Log Home Living full of wonderful ideas. Even the ads are full of information. This is definitely a magazine to buy.
