There is no other magazine out there like Making Music. Great variety of articles, and aimed toward the adult, non-professional musician. Other mags seem to be too gear heavy and targeted toward teen boys, this has a little something for everyone--male/female, guitar player or pianist. Worth a look.

No other magazine like Making Music magazine covers all instruments. It's more about lifestyle than boring how to's. I totally recommend this.

Just a great magazine for people who enjoy playing music, any kind of instrument. Not page after page of gear I don't care about, but does have some instrument/accessory reviews. Mostly about the experience and joy of playing just for fun. Smart and clever. I recommend this highly. A real find!

I love this magazine. It is filled with articles and tips on playing music--all types and all instruments. And has great stories about other people who play just for fun. Reading this magazine has inspired me to dust off my old acoustic, and start playing again (and I bought an electric guitar recently too). My daughter is a drummer, so she and I both get a kick out of all the different stories. If you want a different magazine that isn't all "gear talk" or just press releases, Making Music is perfect for you.
