  • Pros: Calm, soothing, expert guidance on the fundamentals of better living
  • Cons: I have no complaints

I'm up to my ears in turkeys and candy canes this holiday season when, as I was checking out at the market, spotted the January 2009 Martha Stewart Living magazine, complete with “Citrus Marmalades, Salads and Sweets”, comparisons of day-planners (the New Year is right around the corner), season-specific flower arrangements and, best of all, closet makeover ideas. I was SO ready! I know some say that the Martha magazine is a little ad-heavy but, I was reminded to pick up vegetable juice (the slap-your-forehead brand) as part of a new personal health initiative, by an ad in Martha. Better than being coerced into buying Sugar-laden Fruity Puffs by an ad, right?

  • Pros: Greatest layout Of any mag. I am a rertired graphic designer and I appreciate good design.
  • Cons: Alittle ad heavy but it pays the bills.

I look forward to reading Living every month. Its my special time. I cannot talk enough about the exceptional layout and fantastic photo displays in this magazine bravo!

I really liked this magazine- I got in October and used several ideas my Halloween party was a hit . I would say if yuou do a lot of entertaining this would be a good magazine for you .
