I'm 13-years-old and I'm building my first computer so I get all my news reviews and more from Maximum PC magazine. I am able to check parts before I buy them.

Best Unbiased Mag out There! on March 26, 2009
by Sgt Holcum from USA
  • Pros: Current, relevent, and spot on!
  • Cons: None

I have been a reader of Maximum PC since the beginning when it was called Boot magazine and it still today has the most unbiased current information about hardware, software and techie stuff of all the computing magazines out there. I love the fact that they will rip up or praise any piece of hardware/software regardless of their affiliation or advertising status with the companies they deal with. All facts NO BULL!!

Great resource, I rely on this mag heavily to get up to date info on software and hardware. Used it almost exclusively to select hardware for my last two custom build pcs.

Maximum PC on May 24, 2006
by Jake from Des Moines IA

Maximum PC is one of the best computer magazines out there right now for helpful hints and everyday PC issues. I've read many PC magazines, but I literally read Maximum PC magazine from cover to cover.
