I have been reading Muscle & Fitness for years. It is a great source for the beginner and the advanced weightlifter / exercise enthusiast. When you are struggling with your gains (muscle)or losses (diet), this magazine can point you in the right direction.

If you want a msg that can guide you to a better more fit you this is it. Can teach old dog new tricks and new dogs all the tricks of the trade. Very informative and practical.

I used to subsribe to M&F years ago, so that was what I expected. Heavy on bodybuilding content and light on general fitness. M&F now reminds me of Men's Fitness years ago.

I am 5'9in tall and 150 pounds and Muscle & Fitness magazine helped me in getting to 160lbs of solid muscle @ 4% body fat. I have an athletic training background and much of the information was factual and I reviewed the sources which were sometimes hard to find. As a personal trainer these give wonderful ideas for training sessions and for me personally allow new insights to weight training. I recommend this publication over Muscle development and FLEX magazine, because the advertisements fill up to much of the magazine. I gave this publication up because of expense and I switched to running due to time constraints of being a mostly stay home father.
