Okay on July 08, 2008 by Tinkerbelle from San Francisco, California

  • Pros: Good nature stories
  • Cons: Too short

I always looked forward to getting it in the mail. I liked the animal stories. But they should make the magazine longer.

review on June 08, 2008 by bookworm from libya

  • Pros: interesting to read with lively pictures
  • Cons: not enough texture

this magazine is simply wonderful. if you have atest on animals or other suff you could read this and then sudying would become fun. National geografic lets you relax while you read it and laugh at the pictures with your fiend. you could also read it in the car so you don't get bored. national geografic is amazing and helpful in all ways.

Heavily commercial on May 13, 2008 by Mom of tot & teen from CA

  • Pros: animals
  • Cons: extremely commercial

This magazine is very heavily pro movies and videos. If you want to get a screen-addicted kid more interested in animals, this is your ticket. If you are looking for something like National Geographic, then get the adult version or the little kids version. Or, get Ranger Rick. Muse, Appleseeds, Ask, Kid's Discover, or one of the other high quality kid's mags with real information, without Hollywood, etc. I would have expected something much less sensational from National Geographic.
