Great Quilting Magazine on July 22, 2011 by umterp76 from Burtonsville, MD

  • Pros: Great ideas and stories
  • Cons: None

I really enjoy the quilts and articles in this magazine. Even if I don't make the quilts, I find the magazine inspiring. I love the stories about other quilters.

Quilts I can make on July 09, 2010 by CoMom from U.S.

  • Pros: For the everyday quilter

I like the extra motifs Quiltmaker magazine offer for quilting ideas and the fact that their patterns are simple enough for the average quilter to try and finish. They also have some projects that will give you a chance to try something new and learn lessons to build skills.

Excellent quilting magazine on November 10, 2009 by Quiltsbydaria from Long Island, NY

  • Pros: excellent for beginner or intermediate quilters

As a quilter for the past ten years who sells quilts on the internet, I own and have read many, many quilting magazines. Quiltmaker is excellent.

Most Often Used on March 19, 2009 by Rainbow from WI

I taught myself as a child to sew, then later quilting and machine embroidery and have earned ribbons for my quilts including First Place. Quiltmaker is my favorite magazine. They offer very 'do-able' patterns and as you advance, they also offer machine embroidery and embellishing ideas you can add to the simple and intermediate patterns. As for articles, they are as long as they need to be to explain how to make the quilt including templates and suggested quilting designs. They will not leave you stranded as to how to make and finish the quilt completely.
