I am 23 yrs old and I love seventeen, I love their sense of style, love thier make-up tips and the fact that you can get great clothing or where to find clothing in season for less. This is a must have magazines for all ages.

My mother-in-law got a subscription for our 13 year old daughter, and we are very unhappy with it. There are many topics in there that are not appropriate for pre-teens such as, "Do I have a STD?", "How to get on the pill", "I had unprotected s_x, now what?", "I'm pregnant, now what?" etc. On the pregnancy article their first suggestion was to get an abortion, then adoption, and lastly, motherhood. There were many pictures of older men lustfully looking at way younger girls with hardly anything on. Plus the fashion is herendous, the models are much older than "17" , overall, it was boring and not very interesting.
