Great Crossword Puzzles on May 22, 2009

  • Cons: Ads stuck between the pages

If it were not for the crossword puzzles, I would not allow myself the luxury of buying PEOPLE magazine although there are many other interesting stories that one might not hear anywhere else. I liked reading about Craig Ferguson's wedding although the article could have been longer. There are reviews of books, movies and Mmusic. It is good for keeping up with the new young actors. When my subscription runs out I will renew it.

  • Pros: Upstanding reputation; contains a little bit of something for everyone; factual info as opposed to gossip & rumor.
  • Cons: I truly struggled and wasted a lot of time trying to think of ONE con! Sorry..I've got nothing!

Being a self-proclaimed entertainment 'junkie', I enjoy reading a wide variety of magazines. Yet, without fail, I always find myself reaching for the latest People magazine off the rack FIRST, while standing in line at the store or just 'loitering'-if permitted, of course! People seems to get the story first and have facts and/or pictures to back it up. Their articles are compelling reads and intelligently written, drawing me in at the first sentence. I'm proud to be a subscriber to People magazine and will continue to be so as long as they continue to keep up the good work! Kudos, People! ; )
