  • Cons: Sometimes a little to detailed

This Magazine has been very helpful in keeping me up to date in my amateur photography world. I find most of articles excellent and relevant. The Photo contest is s good idea. I will keep getting this publication.

  • Pros: Informative, good tutorials, covers current equipment and software

I like shutterbug as it does not only cater to only professional photographers. I believe it offers ads and tutorials that will apply to all levels of photographers and software users.

  • Pros: I like the advertisements and some of the articles.
  • Cons: I don't like the digital articles.

I like the articles on the cameras from the 30's and the 40's. The magazine is easy to hold it is not cumbersome.

  • Pros: Good in depth articles about a wide range of subjects
  • Cons: Too much concentration on selling

This magazine often comes across as a buyers guide more than an informative magazine. I would like to see more articles on how to do things than on what I just HAVE to buy this season.
