One has but to pick up this week's issue of TIME magazine to see the spiritual schizophrenia of our culture in print. The only redeeming factor I can perceive is the fact that the lady with clothes on (Blessed Mother Teresa) is on the front page and the other one is on the back page. They could have been inverted. Things always could be worse, no matter how far they may have descended. Take hope!

Your magazine has become a disgraceful con job. It's appalling how your magazine has shrunk to a size that one can read in twenty minutes. I will no longer subscribe to a magazine that is now no bigger than a pamphlet.

No magazine is completely objective, because the perception of objectivity is in itself subjective. Time comes closer than almost any other media. Liberal? Hardly. Time simply reflects the reality in our nation at this time: the Bush Administration has made a vast mess and squandered huge amounts of money and opportunity. I don't mind opinions - just don't state them as fact.

The most recent issue features "Commentary" by Jeffrey Rosen. He writes about how the Supreme Court has shifted away from what he knows is good for America. Believe it or not---Jeffrey says the most important issue facing the United States today is: The Supreme Court is not in favor of partial-birth abortion. Of all the issues facing the people of America, Time Magazine chooses Jeffrey Rosen to decide which is the most important. As a subcriber to Time I must disagree with the choice of this "commentary". Thank You.
