Not like the Old TV Guide used to be on May 06, 2009 by Loli10 from USA

  • Pros: Nice photos and insights to upcoming shows
  • Cons: Not enough detail for what's on

I am extremely disappointed to learn that TV Guide doesn't give a complete listing of what's on at any hour of the day or night. All it gives now is prime time hours. I want to see other things like weekend days and off hours. I don't care what celebrities are doing--that's not why I read TV Guide. What a waste of money! Jeers to TV Guide for a sad attempt at imitating "ET" or People magazine.

Hit or Miss on May 05, 2009 by Chard from Seattle, WA

  • Pros: Took a while to get use to being regular magazine size but it was a good move.
  • Cons: The TV schedules often don't jive with local programming.

The horoscope is the first section I go to in TV Guide to start my week. I miss the pictures of personalities representing each zodiac sign.

Liked the Old Format Better on April 28, 2009 by Patnik from Anna, Texas

  • Pros: Helpful in finding what I want....like old movies, etc.
  • Cons: The large format is cumbersome and messy to have around .

TV Guide has been my favorite magazine since I lived in New York 55 years ago. We have had a subscription for TV Guide for a long time--off and on. I miss it, but I'm not sure I want a subscription to the new format.

Sad on April 18, 2009 by Gam from USA

  • Pros: None for an older person
  • Cons: no daytime listings and it does not start until 8pm

I have always been a great fan of TV Guide. I recently subscribed and you cannot imagine my disappointment. I am almost 70 years young, I go to bed at 8 or 9pm. I get no use from the guide.

The Best Viewing Guide There Is on April 16, 2009 by AnaB from Iowa

  • Pros: Listings for LOTS of channels, great articles

Get over it, folks: the "I Love Lucy," only-3-networks format of TV Guide is not coming back, and with good reason. It's the 21st century, and even in Iowa we get 150 channels. Want daytime listings? Use your newspaper. TV GUIDE is the best national prime time guide with the best articles, interviews and columns.
