I have been buying Ranger Rick and my Big Backyard for years, as gifts for nieces and nephews. I took a chance on Wild Baby Animals, as it is a National Wildlife Federation publication. My 18-month-old granddaughter gets excited to receive mail and also enjoys the pictures.

I read these books to my daughters for years even after the toddler years. My six year old is reading them to me. They do love animals though. Kids love to get mail and these are great gifts for kids who have everything.

My daughter got these books as a gift and likes to have them read to her as well as get her own mail. I've been disappointed with these books since day one because the construction is very poor. The first book that we got fell apart immediately and since these are for young children I would expect much better.
