I love Wild West magazine because it has articles about people and stories about people we have heard about all our lives. And this magazine tells you the truth about what happened. One magazine I get that I want to read right away.

I have read many of the 'Old West' style magazines over the years, but I have found Wild West magazine outshines them all! The articles are well written, easy to read and true! I have read many past issues (from the very beginning!) and have learned many things- even about the local history in my own state. My family lived the history, as yours did, and it is great we can read about what they experienced in the old west. This magazine brings the west back to life with little-known stories of how the people thought,worked and lived. It is a window back to our past here in the West. Let us never forget how we came to be.

• Pros: For All Western History Buffs

I just received my first issue of WILD WEST magazine, and I LOVE it. Tho I like all U.S. History, I especially love to read and learn about our History west of the Mississippi River during the 19th century. And get fact from fiction on the people who lived there. The Indians and what they had to endure and suffer (and still do). The lawmen who laid their lives on the line to bring peace to this area of the country. Which is so expansive in size. The brave people who dared to give up everything to travel across this dangerous, unchartered territory looking for a new life, and suffered so much as they journeyed and settled this part of our beautiful country. Even today this very part of our country and the people there are so different than those who live East of the 'Big River'. I will look forward to each magazine I get to see what Wild West is going to teach me next. I grew up during the Silver Screen Cowboy's Era. And I've learned that what Hollywood portrayed in the Movies, is far from the actual truth.
