  • Pros: easy-to-read format, variety of topics covered

I used to subscribe to Wine Spectator and enjoyed displaying it on my coffee table. It made me feel smart and high class. Wine Enthusiast, on the other hand, I actually enjoy reading! Sure, Wine Spectator has all the info on the latest high-dollar vintages and fancy wine events, but Wine Enthusiast helps me find budget-friendly treasures to try and often provides a recipe to try with it. If you're new to wine or just want some insight into where to find great wine under $20 a bottle, you will enjoy Wine Enthusiast.

This magazine a feeble copy of WS. The wines reviewed are nowhere near the caliber of those reviewed in WS, The format is a blatant copy. I am sorry I subscribed to this.
